The Manduka Black Mat Pro is one of the pricier yoga mats out on the market, but if you’re in the market for a yoga or pilates mat that is durable, very long, and thick.
Manduka is a company that makes all sorts of high end yoga accessories, and they seem to have hit the nail on the head with this mat. If you’re constantly annoyed by the lack of longer yoga mats out there, you get over 80 inches with this one. It’s 1/4 inch thick, and 26 inches wide. It’s a non sticky mat, however they have made it so you don’t have to worry about slipping at all. I’m not a gigantic fan of sticky mats for some types of yoga, so this is certainly another advantage of the Manduka.
It does not bunch up and move around during a practice, and with the thickness the cushioning for sitting and laying poses is simply superb.
